Celtic boss Neil Lennon will wait for late fitness test to for of his players before naming his team to play Helsingborg in the Champions League qualifiers tonight. Celtic are potentially 180 minutes from the Champions League group stages , playing amongst Europe’s elite.
Scott Brown, James Forrest, Paddy McCourt and Gary Hooper will all be assessed a few hours before kick off to see if they can feature in the match.

Another player who definitely play after his return to injury is Norwegian centre back Thomas Rogne. Rogne has seen his Celtic career full of promise , yet riddled with injury after injury.
The centre back was injured for Saturday’s 1-1 draw away to Ross County.
Celtic went behind to a phenomenal free kick by Brittain and grabbed a last minute equaliser through Kris Commons who scored his 3rd goal of the season. Samaras who played 90 minutes of the match was denied a stone wall penalty by referee Craig Thompson. Samaras heavily criticised himself and his team mates for being overly distracted for Europe. Celtic have been on the travels a lot and have yet to have a week of being able to stay in Glasgow. Charlie Mulgrew hinted that the chaotic fixtures may be why some players heads are elsewhere.
The Celtic team at the weekend playing was clearly lacking a presence up front and the Celtic fans will be hoping Hooper will be back in the team to grab one or two valuable away goals.
One former striker who will be there is a legend to both these clubs and the man himself cannot choose which side he wants to win. I am of course talking about Henrik Larsson. The all time leading scorer of the UEFA Cup/Europa League said he could not choose between his boyhood club and the club he fell in love with as it made him into what he is today.

“I just hope the team that plays the best football will win and go through”

The thousands of Celts who have made the trip to Sweden will be hoping that it is their team who produce the best football and winning football.
With Ki reportedly on his way to Swansea for six million , and Victor Wanyama suspended for the first leg , it is most likely that we will see a midfield two of Kayal and Ledley. The rest of the team will be impossible to predict as there are many late fitness tests.
Helsingborg has signed Nikola Djurdjic from the Norwegian League who will be playing tonight and is a very deadly striker.
This is a monumental match for Neil Lennon’s side and you can catch the action on ITV from half past 7.
