Football hasn’t left us that long and I am already suffering from withdrawal symptoms, how are the rest of ye holding up? Luckily the Euro’s are closing in on  us fast but not fast enough. Luckily I have all the latest transfer rumours and gossip to get us through the day and bring us one day closer to the Euro’s, Olympics and the start of new domestic seasons across Europe. So lets get the full round up of today’s rumours and gossip.

We start with Premier League champions Manchester City and manager Roberto Mancini has dismissed speculations that the club are ready to offer strikers Carlos Tevez or Mario Balotelli as part of a deal to land 27-year old AC Milan star Thiago Silva. Manchester City striker John Guidetti, 20, could move to Swansea on loan after scoring 20 goal in 23 games while at Feyenoord last term. City have been boosted by news that Sergio Aguero has no intention of leaving this summer. “My future is decided and I stay at Manchester City”, he told Rock and Closs radio in Argentina.
Manchester United have not made an official bid for Crewe’s Nick Powell, and they will face a battle with Arsenal if they do indeed push forward with their interest. “At the moment its just speculation” said Davis, whose side face Cheltenham in the League Two play-off final this weekedn. “There has been no solid offer from anybody. Nothing will be happening until Sunday’s out of the way. Maybe next week we’ll know a little more”. Red Devils target Kevin Strootman will make a definitive decision over his future after Euro 2012, according to his agent Chiel Dekker. The PSV midfielder only signed for the club last summer but has made an immediate impact for them and is wanted by United and both Milan giants. United have made their first move for Shinji Kagawa by lodging a £17m bid for the Borussia Dortmund star. The Premier League giants have been pressed into action after being made aware last week of growing interest in the midfielder from Arsenal.
Jan Vertonghen is ready to move from Ajax to Tottenham having been impressed by the London club’s personal touch and how they have made him feel central to their plans. Daniel Levy flew to Amsterdam on Monday for negotiations with the Ajax financial director, Jerome Slop, and the club’s commercial director, Henri van der Aat.
Fernando Torres claims he “lost hope” at Chelsea but is optimistic about next season at Stamford Bridge. “Now all I have in mind is to fulfil dreams. I fulfilled a dream by wining the Champions League and I’d say its a very happy moment but I demand more. The best is yet to come. Now we just have to keep dreaming”.
European news now, and Porto front man Hulk, 25, wants to replace Dider Drogba as the spearhead of the Chelsea attack. Porto have demanded a minimum of £38m for their talismanic striker but Chelsea won’t stretch far beyond the £30m mark. Holland captain Mark van Bommel has urged team-mate Arjen Robben, 28, to seriously consider leaving Bayern Munich in the summer, after he was booed by Munich fans during their team’s friendly against the Dutch. The unsettled former Chelsea winger could attract interest from Manchester United and Liverpool. Espanyol are hopeful of signing Vladimir Weiss on a permanent basis after his impressive loan-spell at the club last season. The talented midfielder was once considered one of Manchester City’s brightest prospects but he has so far failed to break into their multi-million pound squad. West Brom and Norwich look set to miss out on French defender Thomas Heurtaux, who is on the verge of joining Udinese. Both Premier League clubs had identified the 23-year old centre-back as a potential summer signing following an impressive season for Caen in Ligue 1.
Bolton are hopeful of tempting Arsenal teenager Ryo Miyaichi to spend another season at the Reebok as they look to bounce straight back to the Premier League. The Gunners midfielder, 19, had an impressive season despite the Trotters’ doomed relegation scrap.
Dirk Kuyt has admitted Hamburg are interested in singing him if he leaves Liverpool this summer. The Dutch striker’s future at Anfield has been the subject of speculation, with the 32-year old struggling to hold down a regular place in the side last season.
West Ham are poised to make a move for Sunderland midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady. Elmohamady, 24, has failed to make any impact at the Stadium of Light since Martin O’Neill took charge last season.
And finally, in managerial news, Chelsea’s interim boss Roberto Di Matteo has warned that he will quit the club if he is offered only a one-year extension after wining the FA Cup and Champions League during his brief spell in charge. Paul Lambert is the new favourite for the Aston Villa job, but has yet to be approached by the Midlands club. The Norwich manager could fill the post vacated by Alex McLeish at the end of last season, after Molde manager Ole Gunnar Solsklaer pulled out of the race.
