Well we all know now who will be on the plane to Poland and Ukraine for England with both a few surprise inclusions and exclusions. And Kenny Dalglish’s reign at Liverpool has been cut short after a dismal display in the league, despite winning the Carling Cup Liverpool’s owners have decided to part ways with the Scot. So we will look at the names being mentioned to replace him as well as European and domestic transfer rumours and gossip.

Red Devil’s defender Fabio admits he is agonising over his Old Trafford exit, as he’ll miss twin brother Rafael. The brothers have been inseparable throughout their lives and live together in Manchester. Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski has hinted he won’t sign a new contract at Borussia Dortmund. But the Red Devils will face a fight with Bayern Munich for his services. The striker, who is set to star for Poland at Euro 2012, joined Dortmund in 2010 and his current deal expires in2014.
Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric says he is no hurry to sort out his club future and will make a decision after Euro 2012. The 26-year old was at the centre of one of last summers most protracted transfer saga’s over a move to Chelsea which did not materialise.
Chelsea have been warned off making a move for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic. The Montenegrin has long been on the radar of several Premier League cdlubs and reports have emerged in Italy this week linking the Montenegrin with a switch to Stamford Bridge.
Martin Skrtel has lined up talks with talks with Liverpool chiefs about the club’s direction as he considers his own future, according to his agent. It was suggested last week that the Slovakian defender was ready to hand in a transfer request at Anfield after a difficult season for the club under Kenny Dalglish.
Manchester City’s title honeymoon could be over already, with Yaya Toure’s agent claiming the midfielder is ready to move on to a fresh challenge at another club. “He has done all he could do at City and he needs new motivations, Toure would like a new challenge. Toure could sign for many big clubs, like Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Moreover, we would like to see Barca join the race. I have not spoken with Tito Vilanova or Sandro Rosell, but they know the situation and if they are interested there will be no problem to sit down and talk”. City are closing in on Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, and are prepared to pay the £30m buy-out clause in his contract. Reports in Spanish newspaper claim the new Premier League champions have already met with the forwards brother Chus, who also acts as his agent.
In European news Barcelona are considering a move to take out of contract striker Didier Drogba, 34, on a free transfer from Chelsea. Alberto Aquilani should know by the end of the month whether he has a future at Liverpool or whether he is free to move on. The Italy international had hoped that a season long loan spell at AC Milan would lead to a permanent deal this summer. Premier League target Inigo Martinez insists he has no desire to leave Real Sociedad this summer. The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all monitored the 20-year old and are said to be weighing up moves for him. Arsenal target Olivier Giroud is on Atletico Madrid’s radar, if they lose star striker Radamel Falcao. Falcao has had a stunning season for Madrid, scoring 24 in 34 La Liga games as well as netting twice in the Europa League final win over Athletic Bilbao.
Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill is considering a move for Wolves striker Steven Fletcher and Chelsea defender Ryan Bertrand.
Aston Villa striker Darren Bent insists he wants to stay at the club despite speculation surrounding his future. Liverpool have been one of the clubs linked with the former Tottenham man as they aim to improve their goal scoring form next season. Aston Villa chief executive Paul Faulkner says the club want to appoint a new manager quickly and are seeking a candidate who can lead them back into European contention next season.
QPR striker Jamie Mackie has signed a one-year extension to his contract. The 26-year old has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2015.
Ivan Klasnic has confirmed he will be leaving Bolton after the club were relegated to the Championship.
Alan Pardew has been added to the list of names linked with the vacant Liverpool job, as well as Roberto Martinez, Paul Lambert and Frank Rijkaard.
