Serie A champions Juventus will launch an £8m bid for Tottenham’s Benoit Assou-Ekotto, should Spurs miss out on next seasons Champions League. The Cameroon international has become one of the most highly rated left-backs in the Premier League after another consistent season at White Hart Lane.
Nigel Reo-Coker is set to leave relegated Bolton Wanderers on a free transfer. The 28-year old joined Bolton last summer after leaving Aston Villa on a Bosman transfer. Reo-Coker had a release clause in his contract and has now informed the club that he will be utilising this to leave the Reebok Stadium following their drop to the Championship.
