Well I hope everyone had a spectacular Tuesday and have had time to digest yesterdays transfer news, rumours and gossip and are ready for today’s round-up of all the hottest news rumours and gossip hot off the press. So here we go.
Details have emerged that Chelsea will pay Hazard 100,000 pounds a a week after tax as the Blues prepare a bid for Porto striker Hulk.
Manchester United are set to make a 3million pound offer for Crewe’s 18-year old play-off hero Nick Powell.
Arsenal captain Robin van Persie, 28, has been told to stick with the Gunners by his own mother despite interest from Juventus and Barcelona amongst a host of other domestic clubs. Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to mount a bid for Manchester City midfield enforcer Nigel de Jong, 27, as he looks to add more steel to his Arsenal squad.
Newcastle want to continue their French revolution with a deal for Lille full-back Mathieu Debuchy, 26, after watching him star against Iceland at the weekend.
In European news, AC Milan are trying to force down the price of Liverpool’s 27-year old midfielder Alberto Aquilani after the Italian spent the last season on loan at the San Siro. Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, 26, will turn down any approach from Spanish giants Barcelona. Salomon Kalou, 26, is set to leave English football and sign for Germany’s Schalke now that his Chelsea contract has expired. Juventus will switch their attention to Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko if they fail in their attempt to sign Arsenal captain Robin van Persie. Borussia Dortmund are reported to have joined the race for Montpellier star Mapou Yanga-Mbwia, with his agent claiming a German move is an option. Real Madrid sensation Joselu could start a battle this summer with no less than 6 Premier League sides desperate for his signature. Spanish newspaper Marca claims the striker, who scored 22 goals last season for Real’s B team, was watched in his last game by scouts from West Ham, Reading and Southampton as well as 3 as yet unnamed top-flight English sodes.l 
Louis Saha, 33, has apparently been released by Spurs after just 5 months at White Hart Lane. Tottenham will have to move fast if they want to sign winger Milos Krasic from Juventus, with reports in France claiming Marseille are lining up a move to sign him.
Reading, Southampton and West Ham are all on high alert as Yakubu, 29, vows to leave Ewood Park.
Tony Pulis has offered Jonathon Woodgate a new deal at Stoke. Pulis wants the England international to agree a 12-month extension after his current deal expires.
Southampton are in talks with Burnley’s England Under-21 striker Jay Rodriguez about a record breaking 6.5million pound deal. Saints supremo Nicola Cortese is trying to thrash out terms with Rodriguez’s advisers after agreeing a fee for the young Championship hit man.
Belgian ace Nacer Chadli has revealed he wants to seal a move to England this summer. The 22-year old FC Twente midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Fulham ahead of next season.
Sheffield United goalkeeper Steve Simonsen has confirmed to reporters that he is being released by the club this summer. The 33-year old missed the decisive spot-kick in the Blades League One play-off final penalty shoot-out defeat by Huddersfield on Saturday.
Liverpool face a battle with Porto to clinch the signing of highly-rated Colombian forward Jackson Martinez. Martinez is rated on of the hottest properties in South America and has strongly been linked with a move to Anfield. The Reds will have to act fast in a battle with Galatasaray if they want to resurrect their interest in Hamit Altintop. The Real Madrid midfielder is set to leave the Bernabeu where he has grown frustrated at his lack of first team action.
In managerial news, Brendan Rogers emerged as the new favorite for the vacant Liverpool hot seat as former favorite Roberto Martinez arrived back in Britain. All will be revealed on Friday when an annoucement will be made regarding the vacant managers job. Ralf Rangnick is the new favourite to take charge of West Brom after the Baggies were put off by the 2million pound compensation demands from Birmingham for Chris Hughton. Rangnick has been out of work since September, after stepping down from his post at Schalke because of exhaustion.

Welcome all again to your daily transfer news, rumour and gossip round up, as well as news from Europe and managerial news. At least we had some more football to get us through the weekend and out of the heat for a couple of hours at least. Congratulations to Crewe on reaching League One after a 2-0 win over Cheltenham. Commiserations to Wales after they were outfoxed by a stylish Mexico side.

Manchester City are firmly at the front of the queue to land Robin van Persie if Arsenal are forced to sell their star striker. City are poised with a 20 million pound offer for van Persie, who has just one year left on his Arsenal contract.  The champions also lead the chase to prise Sunderland star Stephane Sessegnon, 27, away from the Stadium of Light.
The loan switch of Fabio da Silva, 21, to Benfica has hit a snag with QPR keen to step in and land the Manchester United defender.
Chelsea are set to sign Netherlands international defender Gregory van der Wiel, 24, from Ajax for 8 million pounds.
Spurs have had a 14 million pound bid for International striker Leandro Damiao, 22, rejected as Harry Redknapp steps up his efforts to strenghten hos forward line. Harry Redknapp is known for his bargain buys in the transfer market and could add to his list of shrewd purchases by bringing in Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis from Wolves. The relegated Midlands giant will struggle to hold on to its players after going down.
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has told the club they should sign French international Yann M’Vila, 21, if they want to keep skipper Robin van Persie. Nicklas Bendtner has confirmed that he is in talks about a move away from the Emirates this summer. He is believed to be part of a group alongside Denilson, Sebastian Squillaci and Johan Djourou that Wenger is keen to offload as he looks to reshape his squad this summer.
To Europe now, and the tussle continues for Eden Hazard with latest reports suggesting he has chosen to sign for Chelsea according to French sports daily L’Equipe. The story of where the Lille forward will end up has contained many twists and turns, with the only thing certain being that Hazard will ply his trade in the Premier League. Premier League and Juventus target Edinson Cavani has hinted he wants to stay with Napoli. The clinical Uruguayan striker has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Juve, following a season in which the 25-year old hit man helped Napoli lift the Coppa Italia, their first piece of silverware in 22 years.
QPR manager Mark Hughes will have the final say on whether Joey Barton has a future at Loftus Road after he was suspended for 12-match suspension.
Reading are interested in Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron. The 26-year old is being chased by all three promoted sides, according to MLS expert Joe Prince. He has made 111 appearances for Dynamo and was selected in the MLS All-Star team to face Manchester United in 2011.
Lee Chong-yong has not decided on his future at Bolton but reassured the club that it is not a priority at this moment in time. The 24-year old, who was sidelined for most of the season with a broken leg, is seen by Trotters boss Owen Coyle as a key figure in their bid to return to the top tier of English football.
Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame will hold talks with a number of Premier League clubs over a potential move in the coming weeks. It is believed Diame has been allowed to leave the Senegal squad to hold talks with several top-flight clubs.
And finally in managerial news, Chelsea’s Champions League-winning caretaker boss Roberto Di Matteo is the new front-runner to take over as Aston Villa manager. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is determined to tempt Pep Guardiola to West London, but his plans could be scuppered by interest from Manchester United as a long-term successor for Sir Alex Ferguson. West Brom are reportedly ready to make an approach for to Birmingham for Chris Hughton in the next 48 hours.

Hi gang, it felt for a while at least, like a normal Saturday, with football on our  screens with Ireland in action with a 1-0 win over Bosnia and England recording a 1-0 win under new boss Roy Hodgson. But hard luck to Craig Levin’s men who got heavily beaten by the USA. Also congratulations to Huddersfield on reaching the Championship after a game that went all the way against Sheffield United. So it’s time to press on with the job in hand and bring you all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip, as well as managerial news.

We start today with news that Sir Alex Ferguson is poised to make a move for £4m-rated Crewe starlet Nick Powell, 18, after the League 2 play-off final against Cheltenham later today. Belgian international Eden Hazard who is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, has decided to join The Red Devils according to sources in France. Hazard, 21, has already confirmed he is on his way to the Premier League after a fine season in Ligue 1 with Lille.
Arsenal, Tottenham and QPR are all on red alert after Alessandro Del piero admitted he’ll never join another Serie A side. The Juventus legend’d last game for the Old Lady was a 2-0 loss to Napoli in the Coppa Italia Final earlier this month. Nicklas Bendtner claims to have received a number of approaches for his services, but no decision will be made on his future until after Euro 2012

Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen has issued a warning to Tottenham to act quickly to acquire his services or risk missing out o North London rivals Arsenal who are monitoring the situation closely.

Newcastle face a battle with Porto to sign £3G rated FC Twente right-back Roberto Rosales, 23, according to the Venezuela internationals agent. Magpies boss Alan Pardew is believed to have identified the signing of a right-back as one of his priorities for the summer as doubts continue to surround the future of Danny Simpson.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is set to show his ruthless streak by releasing his son Andrea, 19. Striker Edin Dzeko will stay at Manchester City as he still has unfinished business at the Etihad Stadium. Dzeko faces serious competition to get into the squad next season, let alone the first team, if manager Roberto Mancini buys players like Robin van Persie.

In managerial news, Real Madrid chief Jose Mourihnio has again hinted that he could return to England soon despite penning a new contract with the Spanish champions. Former Chelsea boss signed a deal to keep him in the Primera Division until 2016 even though he continued to flirt with a possible move back to the Premier League. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set to make one last attempt to lure outgoing Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola to Stamford Bridge.

Newly promoted West Ham have made a £7m offer for Heerenveen striker Bas Dost, 22, who scored 32 goals in 34 appearances for his club last season.

Everton have opened talks with Norwegian club Lillestrom to sign Icelandic striker Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson, 21, in a deal worth up to £3m.

Tony Pulis wants to sign Matt Jarvis, 26, although Stoke value the player at only half the £10m Wolves want for the winger. The Potters boss also has no plans to cash in on Robert Huth and is hoping the defender can be persuaded to prolong his association with Stoke.

Clint Dempsey, 29, has cast doubt over his future at Fulham after he tells American magazine Sports Illustrated.
Reading are eyeing up a move for highly rated Watford defender Adrian Mariappa. The Premier League new boys are keen to bolster their squad ahead of next season and they are thought to have made enquirys about Mariappa.
Nicky Shorey has held talks with Leicester about a possible move to the King Power Stadium. Shorey is available on a free transfer and is looking for a new club after parting ways with West Brom earlier this month.
Defender Steven Caulker has confirmed that he would like to rejoin Swansea on loan from Tottenham next season.

Is it just me or are the days really long without any football on the TV. Although at least the Copa Del Ray Final did provide some respite on a Friday evening. As I have already said, the sooner that we get to the international friendlys and European championships the better. Now its time again to look at all today’s transfer news, rumours and gossip from  domestic leagues to across Europe and some times beyond and also managerial news.
We start today’s instalment at the Emirates, where the Gunners are ready to open the bidding for Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud by offering 6.4 million pounds plus Marouane Chamakh, for the 25 year-old.
Manchester City are poised to make a fresh attempt to lure Barcelona star Dani Alves to the Premier League this summer. Reports in Spain suggest that City have their intention to snatch the 29-year old Brazil international clear, tabling an offer of 15 million pounds and Aleksander Kolarov. Striker Mario Balotelli has reiterated his desire to stay at the club, playing down reports in the Italian press that he is to join AC Milan. Roberto Mancini has again played down speculation that the club are preparing a bid for AC Milan’s Brazilian defender Thiago Silva. Mancini met with AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani earlier this week and it prompted rumours that the champions were lining up a bid for Silva.
Newcastle, Cardiff and Southampton are involved in a transfer tussle for Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez. The Clarets want 8 million pounds for the 22-year old, who scored 21 goals last season.
Liverpool will have to act fast if they are to sign Matias Suarez after the Anderlecht forward revealed Bayern Munich have made a move to sign him. Suarez, 24, is rated one of the best strikers in Belgium and has been earning rave reviews this season. The future of midfielder Alberto Aquilani has still to be decided, according to the players representative’s Franco Zavagila. The Italian international was brought to Anfield by former boss Rafa Benitez in 2009 but has since been loaned to Juventus in 2010 and Milan in 2011. Reds target Ryad Boudebouz wants to leave Sochaux this summer. Boudebouz has been watched by Liverpool’s scouting network while Roberto Martinez is said to have tracked him at Wigan.
Manchester United are ready to raise their offer for Shinji Kagawa to around 19 million pounds. A price they expect Borussia Dortmumd to accept. Kagawa has already held talks with manager Sir Alex Ferguson, with Dortmund’s blessing.
Continental news now, and Benfica have confirmed the signing of Ola John. Beating  Sunderland and Aston Villa to his signature. The Premier League pair were keen on John but he has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Portuguese side. Porto Brazilian forward Hulk, 25, is prepared to hand in a transfer request in order to force through a 35 million pound move to Chelsea. The Blues have already reached an outline agreement on personal terms with the player. Real Betis are hoping to fend off interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle and strike a deal to sign Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame. The agent of Dimitar Berbatov has claimed that his client is tempted by a switch to Paris Saint-Germain. the French outfit coached by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, finished second in Ligue 1 but will be able to offer Champions League football next season.
In global news, Tottenham’s Ryan Nelson is set for a summer move to the MLS on a free transfer. The defender moved to Spurs  in January as cover for the injured Sebastian Bassong but he is not considered part of the clubs long-term plans.
Swansea have agreed a deal with Hoffenheim to sign Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson on a permanent basis. It is thought that the two clubs have struck a deal for the Swans to buy the 22-year old for a fee in the region of 7 million pounds, which would be a new club record. Winger Scott Sinclair is stalling over signing a new deal with the Welsh club. The 23-year old, who scored 8 goals last season, has 12 months left on his current deal.
Everton manager David Moyes is chasing FC Copenhagen’s 6 million rated Senegalese striker Dame N’Doye, but the Toffees boss will have to sell to bid.
QPR are lining up Tottenham midfielder  Jermaine Jenas, 29, as a replacement for Joey Barton, who was banned for 12 matches by the FA on Wednesday.
Striker Peter Odemwingie wants to leave West Brom and move to a bigger club hope I will leave West Brom keeping warm relations with everybody” said the 30-year old. “I would consider any proposals, even Russia. But my aim is to stay in England”. They have also shunned an enquiry from Swansea about Graham Dorrans.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has launched a bid to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on loan for next season. The 19-year old made only 12 appearances last season for the Blues, scoring no goals after joining from Anderlecht for 18 million pounds.
Cardiff City have agreed a deal to sign Peterborough goalkeeper Joe Lewis.
Midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen has said that he will remain at Blackburn despite the clubs relegation to the Championship.
Crystal Palace have won the race to sign Portsmouth defender Joel Ward. Ward has been expected to leave Portsmouth since the end of the season due to the clubs dire financial situation.
And we end once again on managerial news, and Steve Bruce is wanted by Hull City to replace Nick Barmbybut he will not make any decision yet as he eyes a third return to Wigan, should Roberto Martinez leave for Liverpool. Chelsea interim boss Roberto Di Matteo has emerged as a target for Napoli after talks with Chelsea stalled. Former Chelsea assistant coach Ray Wilkins is a contender to replace Roy Hodgson as West Brom boss if the Baggies can not lure Chris Hughton away from Birmingham City.
